Manufacturing process of wear resistant steel plate
round tube blank→heating→piercing→heading→annealing→pickling→oiling (copper plating)→multi-pass cold drawing (cold rolling)→blank tube→heat treatment→straightening→hydrostatic test (flaw detection) → Marking → Warehousing.
The rolling method of wear-resistant plate is more complicated than hot rolling (extruded seamless wear-resistant plate). The first three steps of their production process are basically the same. The difference starts from the fourth step. After the round tube blank is emptied, it must be headed and annealed. After annealing, a special acid liquid should be used for pickling. After pickling, apply oil. Then it is followed by multi-pass cold drawing (cold rolling) and then billet tube, special heat treatment. After heat treatment, it is straightened. After straightening, the wear plate is sent to the metal flaw detector (or hydraulic test) by the conveyor belt for internal flaw detection. If there are cracks, air bubbles and other problems inside the wear plate, it will be detected. After the quality inspection of the wear-resistant plate, it must pass strict manual selection. After the quality inspection of the wear-resistant plate, the serial number, specification, production batch number, etc. are sprayed with paint. And lifted into the warehouse by crane.
